Name: The Elevens

Location: Gilford

Distance: About 18 miles

Difficulty: Some tough hills on 11A

Start: There are several good locations to start this ride. You can start at the intersection of 11 and 11C (park in the Patrick’s Pub parking lot) or at Gunstock.

Description: This ride is a loop that follows routes 11, 11A and 11B. A good ride in either direction, but the hills seem tougher if you go clockwise (11 to 11A to 11B). If you start at the intersection of 11 and 11C, Gunstock is a nice place to take a break – great views, picnic tables, a pond, streams, etc.

Another interesting option on this ride is to try to hit all of the various Route 11s in the area.

I guess the people that name roads ran out of creative ideas. Even us locals can't always remember which is which!
