My wife an I rode the Cotton Valley trail from behind the Wolfeboro train station on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in June. There was hardly anyone using the trail - with the traffic falling off to nothing the further from town we road. Its a very scenic ride. However, most of the trail goes "between" the rails as railroad fans run mini train cars on the tracks from time to time. The "between the rails" makes the trail too narrow for bicycles to pass - requiring you to stop every so often. However, don't let this stop you from enjoying this great ride - I highly recommend it for mid-day, mid-week when the traffic is the lightest, or early in the day on weekends during the summer.
